Networking Parameters

  • PMTU discovery enable/disable in the registry is done via the EnablePMTUDiscovery key.
  • TCP connection request initial retransmission timer is set via the TcpInitialRtt key.
  • TcpMaxDataRetransmissions is the number of times a connection is tried to be established.
  • timestamps are disabled by default in Windows 2000. They can be enabled via Tcp1323Opts.
