NOMAN= noman in Makefile.inc stops make to build the manpages!
Copying compiled things
What happened to me, I did a tar -cvf ssh.tar ssh in /usr/src/usr.bin in order to copy the tar-stuff to another machine. I did not realize that the /obj-directories were not copied and as I did not want to recompile the stuff on the other machine where I was going to untar the stuff, the binaries there were never rebuilt!!!!!

check your /etc/newsyslog.conf file and adopt the settings to keep some of the logs for a longer time. Else you will only have a very small amount of logfiles present per default!!!
